Intuit-Lab diploma show 2006.
D E S I G N L I F E okay, check it out !!! Three days is on the short side, but from 22 june through to 24 june, some excellent design is currently on display in the INTUIT-LAB diploma show. Featuring editorial, publicity, video and packaging design projects, and complemented by more than 40 student design portfolios, the INTUIT-LAB-DESIGN-SHOW gives a powerful display of contemporary French independent graphic design. Although projects are taught by discipline at INTUIT-LAB, the personal and editorial projects mix medias, bringing sound, video, poster, and editorial design to play around set project themes. The projects undertaken, dealing with design of a political, social and cultural nature, are extremely varied in both style and approach.
How should you make a book out of a dog-collar ? Does the egg really come before the chicken ? What is slam ? And if you do slam, where would you keep your note-book ? Did you really notice the white space between the words you are reading ? Where are the fantoms hidden in our daily lives ? Is time fragmented ? These are some of the questions posed by students in their final year at the school. Answers can only be found by visiting the show !
